Jeanette M. Abraham is Founder, President and CEO of JMA Global, LLC a 100% Minority and Woman owned company, whose expertise is procurement, warehousing, kitting and distribution of fastener components. Founded in 2001, JMA Global, LLC is a Tier 1 supplier to the automotive industry.
Jeanette’s affiliation and memberships extend across numerous organizations. Jeanette has been the Chairperson of the National Association of Black Suppliers (NABS) Scholarship Fund Board since 2007. She has been a member of the Michigan Minority Supplier Development Council (MMSDC) since 2001, and a member of the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) since 2015, as well as an active member of the Renaissance (MI) Chapter of The Links, Inc. currently serving as President.
Jeanette spent the majority of her career working for General Motors Corporation from the time that she was a 16 year old co-op student still attending high school. It was there where she was groomed and achieved both her undergraduate and graduate degrees. She spent many years in leadership roles as part of GM’s management team. She was blessed to be able to leave General Motors Company for a wonderful opportunity of entrepreneurship and became the majority partner in a multi million dollar manufacturing company in 2000. She sold her shares in this business after eight years.
As the majority owner of that business, Jeanette enjoyed being recognized on the BE 100’s list for six consecutive years. As part of this recognition, Abraham was further acknowledged as one of the top 10 women of the BE 100’s Black Female Entrepreneurs in the August 2003 “She’s the Boss” edition of Black Enterprise Magazine.
She has been honored as an Automotive Trailblazer by Rainbow Push and has repeatedly been named on Crain’s list of top women-owned businesses & Who’s Who in Black Detroit.
Jeanette has a passion for community outreach and participates in numerous efforts. She holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees from Wayne State and Central Michigan Universities, respectively.
